Yogacharya A.B.S Sharma born December 10, 1933, Andhra Pradesh, India. Sri Sharma had his school education at the Narasannapet, Srikakulak District (AP). He is Graduated (B.A) from P.R.G. Arts college, Kakinada and B.E.D from M.R. College, Vijayanagaram. He got his master degree (MA) from Andhra University (AP). He did PGDT, PGDFE from Andhra University. He studied Diploma in Kashmiri from Panjab University, Patiyala. He retired as Head Master in ZP School, Srikakulam District

           Sri. A.B.S. Sharma first met Gurudev Paramahamsa Hariharnanda in the year 1972. He is the first person from Andhra Pradesh to take initiation from Gurudev Paramahamsa Hariharananda.

            Yogacharya A.B.S. Sharma translated Gurudev’s book "Kriya-Yoga” English version into Telugu in the year 1991. Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) was kind enough to give maximum grant of Rs. 10,000/- towards printing cost. Equal amount was added by yogacharya Sri. A.B.S. Sharma to get the book printed. Rajarshi Raghabananda Nayak was mainly responsible for preparing the Telugu version of “Kriya Yoga”. Today it has become the most popular book to learn “Kriya-Yoga” in Andhra Pradesh.

            Once when Yogacharya A.B.S. Sharma met revered Gurudev at Calcutta. At that time Gurudev was discussing with another devotee, the moment Sharma entered into the room, Gurudev told with that devotee “Here is a person from Andhra Pradesh who will translate number of books into Telugu”. He did not believe Gurudev’s words at that time. He had no idea of any more translation work at that time. But his words became true. Many more books were translated into Telugu language. They are (1)Sadhana Vignanamu, (2)Smruti Theertham – Param Hariharananda, (3)Gurudevuni tho Naa Anubhavalu, (4)Lahiri Mahasay and (5)Sri Yukteswargiri.

            He was initiated as a Yogacharya in the year of 2004 and since then he is visiting nook and corner of AP to spread “Kriya Yoga”.  Yogacharya A.B.S. Sharma goes on tour for 15 days in a month, most probably from 10th to 25th. He will be generally available at head quarters from 25th to 10th. Many are now inviting him to foreign countries. With Gurudev blessings, he may go to foreign countries very soon. Even at the age of 75, he works hard to spread the message of revered Gurudev with devotion with out egoism.
